Anyone planning on going to the Rancid / Cock Sparrer show in SF?
This show was PERFECTION. I was super surprised at how many people in the crown didn’t know H2O. I mean I don’t own all their cd’s or anything but wtf? Maybe they’re too much of an East Coast hardcore band. Nevertheless they were awesome. But Rancid was fucking spot on perfection. I sang my little heart out like I was 13 again. I even teared up when they started talking about how they never forget where they came from during “Olympia wa.” It made me think of my whole rebellious teen years. They played pretty much every song a Rancid fan would wanna hear. I’d say about 25-30 songs give or take, even an acoustic version of St. Mary. And it had been foreveer since I heard Salvation, seeing as how its not on my ipod. Good fucking times. Although 2 tall cans and a shot did set me back $25, but oh well.
